Altar Servers

This is a great way for the youth of the parish to serve. Altar Servers assist with various parts of the Mass such as lighting and carrying candles, bearing the processional cross, bringing the gifts of bread and wine to the altar, holding the ritual books, and ringing the bells.  

This ministry is open to anyone in grade four and above who has received their First Holy Communion.  After a training session, altar servers serve on a rotating basis on weekends and at special Masses for Christmas, Holy Week, Easter, Holy Days, children’s First Communion and Youth Confirmation with the Bishop presiding.
