“One in four families in Wake and Johnston Counties are burdened by housing cost."
We're grateful for everyone who is sharing their gifts to help Habitat for Humanity build more affordable homes! In addition to participating in home builds, the St. Raphael Habitat Committee also supports advocacy efforts to address the broader housing crisis.
Anyone can help advocate for better public policies. There are many ways to advocate, no experience is needed! You can sign up for free Advocacy Alerts to learn about current issues by going to habitatwake.org/advocacy. You can also sign up and be trained as an Advocacy Ambassador to better communicate with elected officials. If interested, contact Bob Kucab at [email protected].
