Our Saint Raphael Habitat Ministry will again be joining the Catholic Coalition in another step towards promoting affordable housing in our area. The  Coalition consists of about 7 local parishes working together towards this goal. As most are aware, home prices have skyrocketed and more and more individuals and families find themselves in substandard and unsafe living arrangements, or homeless. Our parishioners have a history of collaborating with Habitat since the 1970s. A new home is scheduled to begin this Fall and there are many ways you can help. In addition to the need for hands-on construction volunteers (no tools or skills required) ages 16 years and older (16 and 17 year old youth must be accompanied by a parent or guardian), there are needs for financial support, lunch prep volunteers for our workers, and many prayers for a safe and  successful build.
