Dear Parishioners,

God loves a cheerful giver (2 Cor 9:7)! You may have seen that on our recent postcard mailing to all parishioner households. If you did not receive a postcard, please let us know so we can ensure you’re on our list.

Of course, joyful generosity flows from a profound sense of gratitude for many blessings received. I stand awestruck every time I reflect upon all that is unfolding here at Saint Raphael the Archangel. Each bulletin abounds with active ministries, Mass attendance continues to grow, and there has been a significant leap in sacrament preparation and faith formation. These are all signs of a vibrant parish with parishioners taking on leadership and offering their gifts to build up our church.

The largest financial investments we make to support our multifaceted and growing ministries are in our facilities and infrastructure. Having appropriate spaces to meet, accessible technology, and necessary materials is both critical and expensive. The table at this link presents some of the key investments we have made as a parish and some that we hope to achieve soon. Those in yellow are areas where we could definitely use your help.

¡Dios ama al que da con alegría (2 Cor 9:7)! Es posible que haya visto esta frase en nuestro reciente envío de postales a todos los hogares de los feligreses. Si no recibió una postal, comuníquese con nosotros para que podamos asegurarnos de que está en nuestra lista.

Por supuesto, la gozosa generosidad fluye de un profundo sentimiento de gratitud por las muchas bendiciones recibidas. Me quedo asombrado cada vez que reflexiono sobre todo lo que se está desarrollando aquí en San Rafael Arcángel. Cada boletín abunda en ministerios activos, la asistencia a misa continúa aumentando y ha habido un aumento significativo en la preparación para los sacramentos y la formación en la fe. Todos estos son signos de una parroquia vibrante con feligreses asumiendo liderazgo y ofreciendo sus dones para avanzar nuestra iglesia.

La mayor inversión financiera que hacemos para nuestros ministerios multifacéticos es en nuestras instalaciones e infraestructura. El tener espacios apropiados para reunirse, tecnología accesible y materiales necesarios es crítico y costoso. En la tabla en este enlace se presentan algunas de las inversiones claves que hemos realizado como parroquia este año y algunas que esperamos lograr pronto. Las que están en amarillo son áreas en las que definitivamente nos vendría bien su ayuda.
