Bring a smile to a child in need at St. Raphael, a teenager in Wake County Foster Care, or a homebound parishioner. Look for the beautiful Angel Tree in the Atrium during Advent for gifts that you can purchase to assist those in need. You might also consider a new holiday tradition by baking a special treat such as rice krispy treats, cookies, or brownies that will be given to the children on the distribution day.
Busy or traveling during the holidays? Gift cards are welcomed for our team to purchase gifts on your behalf.

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) offers free tax help to low- to moderate-income (generally, $42,000 and below) people who cannot prepare their own tax returns. It is fun and easy to help people with their tax forms. You can make a difference.

With many prayers and generous donations, we've made excellent progress in our support of home #11. In addition, insulation baffles have been designed by St. Raphael preschoolers and will be installed in the home. Our soon to be new home owner is a single mom who is looking to assure that her child (age 4) and mom have a place to call home - "a permanent place to build memories together." She says that she is most proud of her "strength to overcome a hard situation, to become established in a new country starting from zero" and her favorite saying is "let your faith be bigger than your fear".
