Connie Bryant has been a member of Saint Raphael parish since 1994 when she moved here after graduate school. Raleigh has been home for her for the last 30 years. Both of her children graduated from the Saint Raphael Preschool and Saint Raphael Catholic School. Her family has been involved in the Saint Raphael parish in various roles as Altar servers, Greeters, leading AAMEN Ministry, and serving in the Pastoral Council and the Finance Council. She also worked in the Diocese of Raleigh as a Finance Director.
Connie holds an MBA from University of Connecticut. She is the Founder and CEO of Smart Financial & Insurance Advisors where she is a Financial Coach and Insurance Advisor. She is also the CEO of Wangu Bryant Consulting, a business strategy consulting firm that supports businesses around the globe. Her work leverages her unique corporate and global experiences in bringing to the forefront the importance of solid financial practices in all aspects of life. Before founding her businesses, Connie worked in the Technology industry in various leadership roles in Finance and Marketing.
Connie is from Nairobi, Kenya and her passion is to educate and mentor the next generation of Afrocentric leaders around the world. Her unique strength comes from her passion to deliver results by embracing inclusion and diversity. She is passionate about empowering and helping youth, minority and women owned businesses drive business results.
Her desire is to help Saint Raphael parish to become a vibrant beacon of Catholic faith where all feel welcome and a sense of belonging.
