This is Jocelyn’s first term on the Pastoral Council and she’s grateful to be joining the other members in the Council’s important work. As a new Council member she is most looking forward to learning more from the parish community.
Jocelyn brings analytical, strategic planning, and volunteer leadership viewpoints and experience to the Council. She works as an engineer in downtown Raleigh, and is working on an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. She also currently serves as the Co-Captain for the altar servers for our Spanish Masses and as a Lector, and has served in the choir for the Spanish Masses in the past.
Jocelyn’s family includes her mom, dad, and “lovely” little sister Julissa. Helping others in the Raleigh community is important to Jocelyn and her family. One of their favorite things to do is to buy warm meals from a restaurant and drive around and deliver them to homeless people that they encounter.
One thing that people may be surprised to learn about Jocelyn is that she is very creative. She loves all forms of art, especially photography and videography, and loves to use art to capture people’s stories.
